What are we all about?
The Defenders are a group of motorcycle enthusiasts who have come together to form a brotherhood. We all have two very important things in common, the love and comraderie of motorcycling and have all served in one manner or other to serve, support and or DEFEND our country.
Our Regular Membership includes uniformed and Civilian military members (regular and reserve), all allies, and members of the RCMP. This includes those on active duty, as well as retired personnel and all their spouses who all wear the invisible uniform.
Our Charter dictates that we maintain a minimum 51% Regular membership, all those interested persons are welcome to join. There is no requirement or limitations on bike style. It does not matter if you ride a cruiser, a chopper, or a sportbike...as long as you respect the rules of the road, and promote and practise safe motorcycling you are welcome.

Four Score and...well not so long ago our now president, Terry V, held a small, informal information session at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 93, Oromocto. It featured some guests from Chapter 10 in Nova Scotia (thanks guys!).
The response was promising-ish, and in the next three weeks the potential membership went from the bare minimum to be considered an actual chapter (6) to a full fledged Chapter with now close to, if not more than 30 members!!!!
We now have a five member elected executive and a group of Regulars that met several Wednesday evenings in a row to get this club really going. We took advantage of the fantastic fall weather we had been experiencing, and these inaugural meetings culminated into great coffee runs and three fun filled Saturday morning tours, with the most robust consisting of over 18 bikes!!!!
We've had our first big event, a club Christmas party that was well attended and saw the "unofficial" cresting of Chapter 2, by some esteemed guests.
So yeah, the snow is now flying, but with the interest level high, you can bet that the rides will start as soon as humanly possible.
