DEFACED

was started created in 1998 with the minds of Jeff Rufner, "Dynomite" Scott White, and Nick Busch. Very soon after Roland "Nappy" Hesford, the musician with the most experience so far, jumped on drums. Like most bands the original cast never stayed.

Jeff was tookend over for Matt Hargrave in almost the very beginning. Playing a few shows for free, the line up of Nick, Roland, Matt and Dynomite were learning the tricks of a band. During the summer of 1999, due to person problems, Dynomite left the band, but has continued to encourage and support the band. As they band replaced Dynomite, with Perish as Fools' guitarist Brian Barr. Brian was only supposed to be a temperary fill in, but the music came together perfectly, and Brian stayed. Then in January of 2000, Defaced retrieved Dan. One of Brian's friends since childhood, Dan is an excellent guitar player. He plays complicated riffs with ease. With Dan in the band, there is no stoping Defaced. (Sorry, Dan. I will get a page up for you soon.)

Defaced's influences include Today is the Day, Cave In, Dillinger Escape Plan, and Will Haven.

Currently the band has a 3 song demo. They is an older one with 7 songs, but the quality if the tape is really bad.
