Backpack Pyjama Teddy Bear

Actually my daughter thought of this one to give to a friends 2 year old
daughter, (who had wanted this particular bear of my daughters for quite
sometime), for her birthday! (We put pyjamas in ours as the bear wasn't
  new)
  You will need:
1/2 metre of material in a childrens print, 20cm zipper, 1 metre of 1"
ribbon to match material, and one teddy bear (or any stuffed animal that
can sit up) about 40cm high when sitting.

Cut a piece of material 42cm by 22 cm.  Fold in half right sides facing.
  Diagram 1.

Sew in zipper opposite folded end. Measure from just below teddys
shoulder at back over the top and half way down his side and cut two
pieces of ribbon 2cm longer than this. Sew these into either side of the bag
in the seams. ( make sure they're going to be outside when you turn the bag
right way out) finishing off the bag at the same time. Diagram 2.

Make sure you over sew the seams and the bag should be good for a long
haul with a young child and the backpack is finished.Diagram 3.

Place it on the back of the teddy and Backpack Teddy is ready to go.

My friends daughter is now eight and still uses hers.
