| EASY CRAFT IDEAS Teapot Planter Don't throw out that old teapot, just carefully drill 3 small holes in the base. Diagram 1. Place a layer of pebbles in the bottom. Diagram 2. Fill with 3/4 full of potting mix. Diagram 3. Plant with herbs or a nice trailing plant. If you fill the spout with potting mix, you can put a small piece of the plant in the spout. This looks very effective with the trailing plants.Stand on a saucer and water till the saucer is 1/2 full (stand it in the sink while you do this) and leave stand for 15 min then empty a bit of water out of the saucer. Put the teapot with saucer on your window sill or wherever you like. Diagram 4. Water sparingly. Looks very effective once the plants start growing. |
