Sakura, Shaoran and the Invisible Thread

It's really early in the morning when Sakura wakes up. She approaches her desk to look at her new Song Card. Kero also wakes up. Watching Sakura being worried about recents events, Kero advises Sakura to stop worrying and to get back to her cheerful self or else she won't be ready if something comes.

Sakura arrives at school too early that the school hasn't opened. She hears some yells from her brother's school. She remembers Touya's highschool is having a football competition, so she goes there to watch. Touya is having the ball, he gives it to Yukito, and he sends it back to Touya and he scores. All girls are cheering and Akizuki jumps on Touya's back, making Touya really embarrased. He asks Akizuki to let him go, but she won't. Sakura watches all this in wonder.

It's lunch time, Sakura and Tomoyo are heading for the school yard. On the way, they talk about yesterday's event of having a piano moving by itself. Tomoyo asks if Sakura is alright after that and she says not to worry, Kero has told her to be always cheerful and facing whatever with her smile. Tomoyo says Sakura's smile is the best of her. Somewhere at the yard, Chiharu, Rika, and Naoko are already waiting fo Tomoyo and Sakura. They eat Rika's new cookies and compliment her about the delicious food. Rika, then, takes out her almost-done teddybear. Again, all the girls compliment her of how cute the teddybear is. Tomoyo asks her friends whether they know about teddybear's birthday. She tells them that the first time you give the teddybear a ribbon and name, that is the teddybear's birthday. Moreover, in a particular country, there's a tradition to give your name to the teddybear, and then give it to the person you like, that person will also like you. From the top of a tree, Shaoran is listening to this story and he glances at Sakura and blushes a little. Below, Eriol comments how cute girls are with their teddybear's story. Shaoran is surprised and again he scowls at Eriol. Eriol realizes this and asks why Shaoran always looks angry at him. Shaoran says nothing. Eriol says " I'm new with Japan, could you please tell everything around here that I should know ? ....Li Shaoran-kun !". Apparently, his saying Shaoran's name has some spell which makes Shaoran faint and fall off the tree. Eriol catches him and asks if he is alright. Shaoran immediately takes off saying sorry. Eriol mumbles what an interesting person Shaoran is and he wants to use Shaoran somehow.

School is over. Rika apologizes to Sakura for not being able to go with her to buy the teddybear kit. Sakura says Tomoyo will go with her, so there's nothing to worry. When Terada-sensei goes aways from the class, Rika bids them good-bye. Yamazaki appears and tells Sakura the story about bears. He says that bears used to be sea creatures bla bla bla. And Sakura believes all this until Chiharu grabs Yamazaki's neck to stop him. Eriol asks if the girls want to go to a shop, he wishes to come also. And Shaoran dashes to them saying he also wants to go. At the library, Rika gives her teddybear to Terada-sensei. He is surprised at first, but he accepts the teddybear saying he will take good care of it.

On the way to the shop, Sakura asks what makes Shaoran look angry, Shaoran glances at Eriol behind him and he gets angrier than before, Sakura gets scared at this. Shaoran tells her if anything strange happens again, she must tell him, in case she gets into trouble. Sakura promises to tell him. At the shop, Sakura find what she is looking for. She asks whether Tomoyo will also make a teddybear for the person she likes. Tomoyo replies if the preson she likes is happy without her, then it's alright with her too. As long as that person is happy, then that person's happiness is also Tomoyo's happiness. Sakura, completely clueless, says the person Tomoyo likes must be very happy. Eriol has paid his stuff. He just bought a bag full of threads. Sakura asks what he will do with so much threads. Eriol says he can do a lot of things. "Like what ?" asks Sakura, and before Eriol can answer this, Shaoran comes and says it can be used to tie roast beef. Eriol agrees with him, and Sakura compliments Shaoran for knowing everyhing.

Sakura is making the teddybear, she says the teddybear's face looks like Kero's. Suddenly, she feels Clow's aura. Sakura and Shaoran are ready to check for the Clow's aura. Kero asks why Sakura tells the brat about this. Sakura says she has promised to tell Shaoran if something strange happens. Once again Kero underestimates Shaoran being usesless when, suddenly, Shaoran feels something. Sakura asks what is wrong, Shaoran says "My body...", and Shaoran grabs his sword and goes to Sakura's way screaming "Go away !! Watch out !!" He just slashed some of Sakura' costume. Sakura just won't leave him but she doesn't know what to do. On the secod charge, Tomoyo pushes Shaoran away to stop him attacking Sakura. Kero says something is controlling the brat, but Sakura says she sees nothing. Shaoran takes out his incantation paper and uses the water power. with the light from the shining water, they all can see that Shaoran's body is surrounded by threads. Sakura quickly uses her star staff and takes out the Sword Card. It cuts all the threads and after that, Sakura falls asleep again. Kero thinks he was sure it was Clow's work.

Somewhere at Eriol's house, he has some threads around his fingers, he says "We can use threads for this, Sakura-san." Eriol turns to Suppi asks whether the book he is reading is interesting, and then comes Nakuru asking why they came to Japan. Eriol asks if she gets bored, but Nakuru says she has found something interesting. Suppi is amazed that Nakuru, who always moves fast, can patiently wait. Nakuru says there's an obstacle and, besides, the longer to wait the more delicious it will be. Eriol takes out his sun staff and changes Nakuru and Suppi's form to their original forms, Spinel Sun and Ruby Moon. Spinel asks why the came to Japan and Eriol says that something interesting is about to happen.
