A reminder to all members and visitors to take their belongings with them when they walk off the courts, and from the clubrooms. We find items left behind nearly every week as you'll see below...
Be sure to wear proper tennis attire when you are playing home and away matches during competition. This means shirts with a collar. Tennis shorts for boys, and tennis skirts or shorts for girls. And most importantly, tennis shoes with a NON MARKING SOLE.
If you wish to have your teams results published on the DPTC website please send your results and any other information to [email protected] - please include your name, your grade, and make sure you write who won!
The club is open to play social tennis on Tuesday and Sunday nights from 7.00pm. There is a court lighting fee of $3.00 for members and $10.00 for non members.
The Deer Park Tennis Club is a non-profit organisation, managed by a committee. The Club aims to provide members of the local community with opportunities for social and sporting development through playing tennis. All fees, sponsorship and corporate income go back into the maintenance and development of the courts and social facilities for the continued enjoyment of all members. As part of this effort, we welcome any submissions made for sponsorship to the tennis club to form closer relationships with local businesses.
Bag and water the courts 3 and 4 (which are en-tout-cas) from fence to fence before you begin playing your sets;
Always wear correct tennis attire during competition;
If members are waiting to use the courts, please restrict you game to finish your set within half an hour. Alternatively, invite the others to a doubles game.
