The night was fine, squeezed in a few hours of sleep. My mouth and throat started to pain in the early hours of the morning and that was really uncomfortable.
My platelet (blood clotting cells) count was low (17) this morning so I received a platelet transfusion. That went off well, no reactions from the transfusion.
I manage to eat a couple of times today despite the pain. I was given morphin to help fight the pain.
The anti-nausea medication helped because I manage to keep my food down today.
I felt miserable most of the day because of the excruciating pain in my mouth and throat, so I just slept most of the day.
