Dinosaur Planet Memorial: He wasn't a star, but he would have been. As so would have all the rest, except, the illusive Krystal and some others. |

The year was 1997. It was about a year after the Nintendo 64's successful release. And Rare was already thinking about throwing a new character into the mix. 20 year old Sabre. Sabre was from a place called Dinosaur Planet, a.k.a Animus. He had a half-sister named Krystal. Yes, that's right, Krystal from Dinosaur Planet. As you can see from the screenshots, Krystal looks like she got some huge plastic surgery. |

As you can see, Krystal looks like a stunning sex queen on the right, but on the left, she looks like a mere school girl yuppie. |

But luckily, Rare and Nintendo ditched Mr. Wannabemean and gave us this lucious piece of artwork. Even though it's still young in production, they're coming along nicely. |
|
|
Mr. Meanie himself. He must be going for that, "I am dumb, but hear my gay ass roar!" I like the gamecube conversion of him any day! Just compare that weakly claw to the massive claws of the gamecube General Scales! |

And we can't forget the controversial Tricky. Tricky was actually the boss from Diddy Kong Racing's first world. In fact, the same triceratops. But then, the Dinosaur Planet Team first said that Tricky was the same dinosaur but that he changed. And then they said it had no relation whatsoever to the game. Well, even though that happened, Tricky still rocks! |

And here we have Kyte. She's Krystal's ride presumeably. Kyte is known to get captured every once in the while, so expect to rescue her a lot. She hasn't drastically changed as much as Tricky did from the whole Diddy Kong Racing issue. |

So there you have it. Except wait, what about Sabre? Sabre was the main character in Dinosaur Planet. He was looking for his father, Randorn, but I guess that mission went down the drain. I have my own personal plans for Sabre's future, but for his video game career, I think its over. I could be wrong though. Anyway, take a look at this pic of him! |
