Beautiful Buffy | Colorful Cordelia | Wicked Willow

Whilst many would focus on the lifestyles that is of the beautiful people of Sunnydale, we've found unable to do so due to the lack of...living. So instead we've exposed the truth of hairstyle instead. Along her fellow beautiful class mates Willow may have seemed a notch down or even nerdy looking but what we're about to show is the growing of her into one of the most beautiful flowers amongst weeds.

Being bookish in high school, Willow wasn't much into her appearance. Yet she still manages to have time to nurture her long reddish hair into a healthy long hair. You may think she appears to resemble Jan Brady but no, there is one hip and going girl under there. Still here you can see her red hair that is so long. Throughout this year, Willow continues to use the same basic style of letting it down.

After the summer, Willow has loosened up, due to part of being nearly killed tends to do that to a person. Anyway she seems to have cut it down to a reasonable length just a little lower than her shoulder and it looks great. It's very cleanly cut and even Willow begins to experiment with her style a bit. She still leaves it down, occasionally tying in plaits or in Halloween, even toppling it up on her head with loose strands. There's more experimentation as she tries to find her 'look'.

The next summer, it gets even shorter. She just keeps hacking it off, we don't know what will happen next time. Anyway, its very nicely cut up on her shoulder and the parting is split more on a side now. It also appears thicker that the past summers and looks like the highlight of the time. Unfortunately with it being so short, there isn't much in the way of style.
Finally out of high school, Willow drops the entire neat and symmetrical look for a entirely new hippy chick look that is the definite highlight above all. Along with the new threads -clothes- Willow has again cut her hair. This time only a tiny bit and it frames her face wonderfully. She no longer pulls it behind her ears and it is parted on the side. It's a lot redder and crops around her head giving her hair more volume than in the past season.
Later in the same year, Willow finally gets wild. She flairs her hair so wildly back into what is known as 'flair hair'. It gives her a wild Wiccan and hippy chick look that is gorgeous. You can notice it growing longer and she pretty much wears it the same way throughout the next year. The flairs eventually tone down and only flairs at the ends outwards which still looks great and gives her a degree of maturity. She also has a few curls at the end.
After Buffy death, Willow's hair is back to dead straight since she's grieving and you can't have 'flair hair' when you best friend is dead. Its now longer to her shoulders but still parted on the side. Throughout the year, Willow allows it to grow back straight. Later she begins to pin the fronts bit back occasionally adding a bit more style into her hair again. Notice that sometimes she curls it slightly.
Then when you think she's back to a serious Willow, she goes crazy with Tara's death and uses magic to dye her hair black. In a few seconds, Willow's red hair is gone and is jet black and way unhealthy looking. Thankfully, the black hair thing faded away once Willow was good again.
With her rehabilitation, Willow leaves Sunnydale to spend some time in England and picks up a few styles from there. When she returns it's obvious her hair has grown longer, past her shoulder's bit. Notice that it's also thinner and layered so the front bits are shorter. There isn't much in style, with the end of the world this year but she does manage from time to time to tie it in a nice long ponytail. It's parted in the middle again and Willow doesn't push it behind her ears.
During the final battle, Willow performs a spell that releases energy through her, turning her hair glowing white. However, this was only temporary and later returned to normal.

As the season closes, we bid farewell to our Wicked Willow. In the changes of her hair, we've found that her character has also changed in tune with it. From basic Willow to 'flair hair' Willow back to basic Willow. She's found her true style, it's not the hair that makes her special or the magic, it's Willow that makes her special.
