BARRETTE HOLDER
I used my basic Sweetie Pie directions to make the head.

I used muslin instead of pantyhose.
Instead of stitching the nose
I painted a button pink & glued it on.
Instead of stitching the mouth
I used a sharepie pen & drew it.
I cut a circle of fabric to cover the
back with pinking shears & glued it on.
The hair was a trial & error project.
Took me 2 tries because the first hair
was tooooo short to make long braids.
I cut 24 very long pieces of yarn.
Tie it tightly in the middle.
Approx. 5" from the middle
tie it again, on each side.
Center the "part" on the top
of the head & glue it in place.
Continue gluing down each side
of the face till it looks right.
I don't know how to explain it any better than that. :-)
Now seperate the yarn into 3 even bundles & braid.
Tie the end tightly & trim.
Repeat for the other side.
I used E-6000 glue to attach a pop can
tab to the back for a hanger.
