My youngest brother was quite adept at getting attention and learned very early that having "hives" -- (skin welts up very easily with the slightest contact--we used to play tic tac toe on his back for fun..) and asthma could net him some great rewards.

When we were young we did a lot of falling asleep on the floor so much that it became the norm to actually bring our sleeping bag into the room where the television was in the event we fell asleep...

One night we were all snug in our bags and I remember all of a sudden my younger brother having trouble getting out of his bag--I believe he got turned around somehow--next thing we all know he is literally eating his way out of the sleeping bag!!--he couldn't breathe so I guess he figured he better start chomping if he was going to get out of the predicament he was in.  We weren't sure what was happening until it was over -- boy did we laugh--he probably didn't think it was as funny as we did, but it is still discussed years later when any of us get together!
