This is an unofficial work-in-progress version of " The Holy Book of Universal Truth and other humorous anecdotes " ( a.k.a. The Book ) of the United Church , the fictional non religious organization head quartered on Bali , Earth. It's like the United Nation of the future devoted to help and organize the citizens of the Humanx Commonwealth.
The Humanx federal army and fleet ( the Peacekeeping Forces ) are under the command of U.C., their symbol : the sandglass.
Original quotes from Alan Dean Foster 's Humanx novels are shown in underlined italic. Other non-Humanx quotes adapted from Foster's novels are in simple italic.
