"The other senses may be enjoyed in all their beauty when one is alone, but taste is largely social. Humans rarely choose to dine in solitude, and food is a powerful social component." D. Ackerman

As I am in an agricultural region, the street vendors are selling every day; green leafy vegies, beans and seeds, many types of mushrooms, prepared and semi-prepared goods from rice and bean products.

Varities from the sea include bivalves, invertebrates, bottom fish, all available swimming or preserved.

Preserving or extending the life of the product is commonly fermentation and/or drying. Sweet and juicy apples and oranges are my daily pleasures.

I give praise to the many "fast-food"  vendors for the quality, low price     and serendipitous social opportunity  that their service offers. You can      get roosted peanuts in a sponge-     cake casing, deep fried goods of     squid, sweet potato, rice cake,        seaweed rice rolls or pork-kabobs   in hot sauce.

Double-dipper-police beware!
Multi dipping is required to  fully appreciate these  succulent delights!
