About DeborahDeborah has enjoyed art since childhood and comes from an artistic and musical family. Her experience includes art courses in high school and college, as well as her professional work experience. While attending East Texas State University (now Texas A&M University Commerce), she majored in Illustration/Design and graduated with a BFA in 1995. Some of her courses of study as an undergraduate include: Illustration, Figure Drawing, Airbrushing, Metal & Wood Sculpting, Pencil Drawing, Oils, Type Design, and Design. Since her graduation, she continues to further her education and has taken several art classes including pottery and stained glass. She is currently employed as a graphic designer in the Dallas area with job responsibilities that include creating package design, brochures, mail-outs, flyers, and magazine ads. Deborah's commission work includes traditional art such as oil paintings, pastel, and graphite drawings. Her work leans toward the abstract side where she emphasizes bright colors in many of her works. She also enjoys painting lots of florals. Deborah also designs wedding invitations. So, if you are wanting something unique, she is your answer. She will also be happy to design birth announcements, graduation announcements, party invitations, etc. |
