OUR STORY:
David and I met on Shabbos Nachamu three years ago, at a shabbaton in New Jersey. He recognized me from 11 years before when we both went to Camp Moshava (Bnei Akiva). He even remembered all my brothers and sisters who were at camp at the same time.
Anyway, after dinner, we talked all night till 2 in the morning, and as he walked me to my room, he told me that he was sweet on me in camp. I was very flattered.
We began dating and quickly found we both loved the outdoors. Him: an avid kayaker. Me: an avid hiker. So we ended up doing one or both every weekend after that.. even hiking to frozen waterfalls in the wintertime.
We were engaged 11 months later, and married 3 months after that.
Our two year wedding anniversary is just over a month away.
Wow! How time flies!
I'm a television news writer. And a painter in my spare time.
David:
I'm an avid kayaker who practices law to make some money for gas to make it to the river. And to make my wife happy. (Can you tell who's writing this?)
I love making my husband happy... cooking for him... allowing him to cook for me. Going kayaking or hiking together , and enjoying the great outdoors. Also love teaching other girls what I've learned..
