2004 Top Sword Endlers sold by AdrianHD on Aquabid.com

His auction describes these fish : " Endlers Livebearers are small wild livebearers closely related to the guppy and originating from Northeast Venezuela. These vibrant, hardy fish are peaceful, prolific, easy to keep and ideal for small aquariums. The endlers I offer come directly from fish collected by Armando Pou at the various bodies of water still known to contain endlers in NE Venezuela. Each of these locations contain their own unique populations of endlers. I have maintained pure lines of each. Armando is well known and respected in the tropical fish hobby and regularly collects a variety of wild livebearers from throughout Latin America. TFH published an article of his in November detailing his most recent collecting trip to Venezuela. He collected several hundred fish on this trip exclusively for ((AdrianHD--SwampriverAquatics)) to maintain these pure lines and to distribute them throughout the hobby. I keep my endlers in optimal conditions. Top water quality, a mix of fresh and live foods as well as plenty of room to grow and reproduce are our keys to spectacular fish. At Swampriver Aquatics we have both the old blood lines and the newly collected ones and periodically introduce wild caught fish into these lines from the same collection sites they came from to ensure top quality specimens. This is the closest you can get to wild caught endlers without making the trip yourself.
The above pictures are of the actual fish I bought from Adrian.  It is very hard to get clear pictures of them! Their true colors are much nicer then the pictures shown above.  Maybe one day with a better camera I can take pictures that does justice to their true beauty. Till then, this is the best I can get.......

I bought these fish in hopes to breed them with Endlers a friend of mine is bringing to me this summer.  Another true line of Endlers.  In doing much research on the web I came across a website that is both informative and exciting as John Endler and AdrainHD are both members of this website !!  Their expertise in the field, along with  their advise in breeding and keeping these fish is immeasurable.  There are many other members that give helpful information that I find outstanding.

For now I will NOT be giving information on the water parameters or keeping of these fish as I am very new to this species.  My advise to anyone who is interested in Endlers, whether it be for enjoyment or breeding, is to visit the website below
