Amber turned 11 on February 26th!! Happy Birthday!!!
And last, but certainly not least, is Sierra, who will turn 9 on April 26th. You could also say she is the "little boy" I never had, as she is a tomboy!!
I'm not sure where to start..
It's hard to describe how you feel,
The experience is quite unreal..
When you find out your pregnant,
You're filled with unbelievable joy.
The excitement grows and grows,
Not knowing if it's a girl or a boy.
Then the waiting is over,
That day finally to arrive.
You're holding that little miracle,
Thankful you're both alive.
When you hold that baby,
That first time to your breast.
The feeling of utter breathlessness,
Knowing you have done your best.
You take that bundle home,
You're filled with love and pride.
You are sure of one thing,
She will never leave your side.
The tears you will shed,
A house could never contain.
The sorrows, joy, and worry,
The faith to get you through the pain.
You cannot wait for that 1st step,
Then all of a sudden they're gone.
Wanting to keep them forever,
Knowing you have to be strong.
As you bid them good-bye,
Inside a part of you dies.
All the time they're walking away,
You hold back the tears from your eyes...
