| The play Jehu, by the young Israeli playwright Gilad Evron (Habimah, 1992), was directed by Hanan Snir. The set designer, Roni Toren, used a bare and empty �black box� stage; the walls of the wings were exposed, and one of them appeared cracked. The actual acting space was defined by a frame of ancient mosaic strips. The costumes by Buki Schiff again feature the Biblical sign of nudity, by means of �nude� half-body masks, both male and female.(Review) |

Family's Morticia and Disney Studios' Cruella de Vil in "101 Dalmatians". The bridal scene - also apparently a figment of Elsa's fantasy - involves a voluminous veil requiring an entire squadron of bridesmaids to support it, eventually stretching most of the way across this house's great stage.(Review Lohengrin) |
