Students will follow the magnet fairy on a quest to discover magnet facts.
Objectives:
TLW define magnets
TLW explain how magnets are used in the real world
TLW explain the forces that allow magnets to do work

The students will need a science notebook to record information.  Experiment sites are included on the conclusions page.  Materials will need to be provided by the teacher.  Teachers should stress safety rules at all times and remind students to never attempt a science project without adult supervision.
Designed to meet 2nd grade Louisiana Science benchmarks for PHYSICAL SCIENCE.
