| He started to move and dance along with her. "You want anything to drink?" She thought about it. She was thirsty, but nothing sounded good. "I'll take whatever you're getting." He nodded then went over to the bar. He ordered a couple root beers and brought them back over to where Cam was. He handed her one and took a sip of his own. She took a sip and forced it down. It didn't quench her craving. She was getting annoyed. Why in the hell was I eating steak raw earlier? I was literally trying to suck all the juice out of it....Dave tasted better. He was warm.....great, I'm going insane. She brushed it off and went back to dancing, setting her drink down at one of the empty tables. The music sounded good, but she noticed the bass was a little high. No one else seemed to care. She took in a breath, smelling a lot of different people. It was strange. He noticed her setting the root beer down. Okay, note to self, she doesn't like root beer, obviously. He went back to dancing with her, trying not to spill his own drink. This was fun. He really wasn't into dancing, but doing it with Cam was good. Due to the amount of people in the club, the floor was packed. She was pressed against him rather closely, which was the only place she'd wanted to be. She kissed along his neck, running her tongue along it. He felt her tongue run across his neck and he smiled widely. He slid his arms around her as they moved to the music. He slowly traced lines over her back, gently. He then moved his lips to her own neck, kissing her softly. Finally, one of the songs from Swordfish came on, causing her to press herself against him, almost grinding a bit. She attacked his neck with a frenzy, nipping occasionally. She whispered into his ear. "This is it....I love this song." Then went back to his neck, running her tongue along it as sensually as she could. He grinned as she moved against him. Note to self, number two: Play this song later tonight, even if you have to find an all night CD store to get it. He pushed himself closer to her as she attacked his neck. He held her tightly. He was very glad they had decided to go out tonight. She stayed on his neck, smelling his aftershave, which was intoxicating...but something else was moreso. She nipped into his neck again, this time breaking the skin slightly. As the small amount of blood flowed into her mouth, she moaned, pressing herself as tightly against him as humanly possible. She wanted him. Right there on the dance floor. One of her hands rested on his shoulder, the other was on his butt, occasionally squeezing. He flinched as she broke his skin. He was about to move away from her, but as she pressed herself so close to him, his mind forgot about it. He moved one of his own hands down to her butt and gave it a squeeze, the other still on her back. After she broke the skin, she was gently licking and sucking at the wounds. The taste of the blood was so much more satisfying than anything she had put into her system that day. The fact that Dave was letting her ravage him like this aroused her more than before. She could actually HEAR his heart pounding. It actually felt really good, her biting at his neck and licking at the wounds. Maybe having been bitten by a vampyre a couple times had made her want to try it out herself. He'd go along with it, just so long as she didn't try to tear his throat out or anything. He thought this could be a lot of fun. She was gentle with him, and for some reason, she wanted more. It scared her a little as she broke off of his neck and looked in his eyes. "I love you." She said to him, her lips a little darker than normal. He looked back into her eyes, his breathing a bit heavy. "I love you." Between the dancing and the closeness, he had started to sweat a little. A bead of sweat trickled down the side of his face. "Having fun?" She nodded, swaying in time with the beat. She leaned forward, kissing him, slipping her tongue into his mouth. There was a strong taste of blood in her mouth. He tasted the blood on her lips. Wow, how much had she actually drawn? Suddenly, he was worried again. As good as it had felt, it still didn't seem right. But he really didn't want to think about it, so he kept kissing her. He felt a little bit lightheaded, but he pushed that away, too. She finally felt like whatever had been quenched. She felt complete, whole and together. She broke the kiss off and looked at his neck, which was oozing slightly. She gave it one lick, and it sealed up a minute or two later, which freaked her out. She let go of him and went over to her root beer. He looked after her, a little dazed. He moved a hand to where he had felt her bite him. He was a bit alarmed when he couldn't find a wound. He moved through the crowd to where she had gone. She lit a smoke impulsively, trying to find out what had happened. Okay, I'm a sick fuck who just drank my lover's blood. I was eating RAW STEAK earlier and I'm still wearing my sunglasses, all the while, I have a funny looking burn on my leg from...when I was in the sun today....What's happening to me? He made his way over to her. "You okay?" he was pretty concerned. She had been acting strange on and off the whole night. He then looked around, trying to see what he had done with his own root beer. Somewhere, during the dancing and Cam biting his neck, he had lost it. Had he dropped it on the floor and not even noticed? She ran her hand along her hair. "Dave, I think we should head out." She passed her drink to him. The smell of it made her a little nauseous. Hell, the smell of everything except what she had just taken out of Dave made her feel a little sick to her stomach. He took the drink from her and drank some. That made him feel a bit less light headed. "What's wrong? We just got here." He took another drink. He could still taste the blood in his mouth. His own blood. She shook her head. "I have to get out of here. I need to go home." She took a deep drag off her smoke, trying to clear her head. She felt so strange and odd that she didn't know what to do. "Okay, we'll go." He was starting to get very worried about her. He set the drink back down on the table, then put an arm around her shoulders. "Let's go." He started to lead her towards the exit. She slid her sunglasses down, dark circles under her eyes. The shade of her eye color had lightened about three shades. They were almost hazel now, a change from the dark brown they were. "Thanks, hon. I'll make it up to you, I swear." He looked at her, noticing the changes. He was starting to get a bit scared. He didn't mention anything, though. Simply nodded. "Yea, I'm sure you will." He forced a smile, and continued to lead her out of the club. They got outside and she leaned against the outside of the building, trying to get her senses back...To much input for her brain. She wanted to just curl up and sleep, but that was nearly impossible ever since Josh had turned her into a retainer. He put a hand on her shoulder as she leaned against the building. "Are you alright? What's wrong?" "I smelled EVERYTHING in there...the perfume the bartenders were wearing...the drinks...All of the drinks...the sweat, the smoke....It got to me." She took another drag from her smoke. "They had the treble too low in there too and it hurt my ears a little." "Yea, it was pretty crowded." He said, trying to rationalize it in his head. He hadn't really noticed anything wrong with the music, but then again he didn't know much. He figured Cam would notice it more, being she was a DJ. "Well, it's ok now. You wanna go home?" She nodded, slipping her sunglasses back on. "Dave, I think I might be coming down with a flu or something. I should try to sleep when we get back to the apartment...but you know after the last two days, I haven't been able to." She sighed, frustrated. Get home, take some Nyquil, and sleep. "Yea..." He started to lead her back towards the car. "Want me to drive?" He secretly hoped it was a flu. Flus were simple and easy to deal with. He hoped she wasn't coming down with something really serious. |
