| After Chris left with Jon and Lil and he had defeated Simone, Josh grabbed Sara and took off. He made his way far from the warehouse to his apartment. He carried Sara down the alley next to his apartment building and set her down on the ground. "Just stay right here, I'll find you something to eat." With all the fighting, Josh was starving. He needed to eat just as bad as Sara if not moreso because of the blood stone he carried with him. Sara's entire body was still burning with pain. She lay on the ground limply as Josh set her down. She nodded weakly as he spoke to her. How could she have been hurt so badly? Becoming a vampyre was supposed to make her stronger then those mortals. How could one cause her so much pain? He kissed her cheek then took off in search for food. He made his way a couple of bloocks down from where he left Sara, he hoped Dagon and Jade wouldn't be out and find her while he was away. Just the thought of that made him search harder for food. He didn't know what it was but he didn't want anything happening to Sara, he liked her. As Josh left her, she curled herself up into a ball. She felt incredibly weak and hungry. Every little bit she moved sent streaks of pain coursing through her. Again she wondered how this had happened. Then there was part of her that didn't care. The angry part. That part just wanted to push herself up and go kill the ones that had hurt her. Josh finally found two people walking their dog down the side walk and grabbed them dragging them into the darkness. He grabbed them both by the neck digging his claws into them. "Start walking." Was all he told them as he tighten his grip on them and pushed them in the direction where he left Sara. Realizing she wasn't going to be able to get up, let alone move, until she ate something, Sara stopped even trying to. She started to drift into a strange semi-consciousness. Her brain shutting down from the pain. She probably looked like a total mess. Bullet holes through her clothes, blood all over her... not to mention her average strange attire and looks. The couple tried to struggle but it wasn't any use, he walked them back to the alley where he left Sara, upon seeing Sara lying there still he thought it was too late. He rushed over to her with the couple, tighting his grip even more both of their necks snapped. He dropped the woman and grabbed the man with both hands, kneeling down in front of Sara he moved her into a sitting postion. Without wasting time he sliced open the mans neck with his claw and pressed bleeding wound to Sara's lips. "Drink." Sara drifted back into counsciousness as Josh moved her and she felt the still warm blood starting to touch her lips. She weakly began to suck at the wound. As she did, she could start to feel the pain slowly start to recceed and her strength return. But she was far from being totally healed. She continued to drink until the body went dry, then leaned back against the wall with her eyes closed. Getting weak himself he looked over at the dead woman, he'd have to give to her Sara as well. He moved the man away and pulled the woman to Sara. Doing the same to the woman as he did the man he left it up to Sara to feed as he sat down next to her and the woman's body. He leaned against the wall and looked up at the sky. Sara latched onto the woman's body and drank more. She lost all other thoughts as she did. The only thing she could think of was the taste of the blood flowing into her and how it made her feel. As the woman also went dry, she let her go and fall down next to the man. She opened her eyes and looked over at Josh, crawling closer to him. "Thank you." She still wasn't totally healed, but she felt worlds better. He took his eyes from the sky and looked over at Sara. "No problem. How do you feel?" "Like tearing those fuckers entrails out through their mouths," she said with a scowl. Then her attention went back to him. "What about you? They didn't hurt you did they?" His shirt looked like swiss cheese with all the holes from the bullets Lil had shot at him, the shirt was bloody but most of the wounds were healed. "I'm all right. Can you walk?" She nodded. "I'm pretty sure." He slowly stood, leaning against the wall. "Come on, you're going to go lay down while I look for food." Sara pushed herself to her feet beside him. "I don't want to go lay down," she said with a pout. "I want to help you." "Your wounds need time to heal, I'll be all right." He said firmly, but there was weakness in his voice. "You're not leaving me," she said firmly, but there was a little bit of weakness behind her words, too. Weakness of a different kind, though. Almost like fear. He looked at her and sighed. He didn't have the strenght to fight her whether or not she'd stay in his apartment. "Okay, come on." She felt relief flood over her as he said she could come. She couldn't really explain the anxiety she had felt about being left alone. But it hadn't really been that... it had been him leaving her that had scared her. He looked into her eyes seeing fear then relief when he said she could come with him. He gently ran his hand down her cheek. "What's wrong?" She shook her head quickly. "Nothing, let's go. You need to feed." "No, I want to know what's wrong. My feeding can wait." He looked at her, a 'I'm not budging till you tell me' stance to him. She sighed. "I don't know, nothing." She looked down at the ground. "I just didn't like the thought of you leaving." He put his hand under her chin. "I would have been right back, you would've been safe in my apartment." He kissed her softly. "It's okay, come on." She nodded, not really kissing him back. Her eyes drifted back to the ground. She felt so stupid and ridiculous. |
