MAKER

I am a metalhead  located in Miami where, unfortunately, there is a huge crow of ghetto people. It is really disgusting to be surrounded by these wiggers that wear extremely baggy pants, and let their hair grow and have this flowerpot hairdo crap.

Musical tastes: mainly metal. Death metal and thrash metal are my favorite styles. I also like grindcore, doom, gothic and some industrial metal and black metal. The only metal styles I do not like are heavy metal (sorry Iron Maiden), power metal and nu metal. I used to be into black metal (and disliked death metal then) after I my exigent tastes demanded something that was more technical, faster, and heavier. I always disliked the idea of brutality that makes death metal so singular. But I was getting bored at black metal because of its lack in speed, and melody. Take for example the famous song Mother North by Satyricon. In that song the same riffs and melody repeated themselves for more than four freaking minutes. There is only a brief change in rhythm somewhere in the song, but that was not good enough for me. I always hear people saying that black metal is mostly about the atmosphere the music makes. Yeah, I used to like this atmosphere, but it just does not offer anything else. Now that "atmosphere" just bothers and bores me. I wanted something I could headbang to. Therefore, I see black metal as being slow, without technique, and just plain boring - well, at least "true" Norwegian black metal is boring to me; other types of black metal have better things to offer. One day I was going to listen to In League With Satan by Venom, and as soon as I play the song, the ID tag shows me that the band playing the song was Six Feet Under. Some motherfucker took the Six Feet Under song, and renamed it. The song was cool, and was probably what pushed me into death metal. Before even getting into black metal I downloaded a video by Cannibal Corpse called Sentenced to Burn. I thought it was the biggest piece of shit ever. It was too "brutal," it was just too UN-listenable. Of course, I was a thrash freak at the time and only liked the musical structure of thrash metal. But after getting bored by black metal, I started to like the heaviness in death metal which I once disliked. I also started to like the brutality that abounds in death metal. Bands like Lividity, Fleshcrawl and Mortician dragged me more into death metal. Now I thought death metal was more decent, and I was able to listen to it. But it still did not met the requirements I needed to satisfy my musical tastes. Then I listened to the song Facelift by Konkhra and hell that is what I wanted! A fast and heavy song with changes in rhythms - a thing which black metal really LACKS. After some months I knew that Six Feet Under was playing in Ft. Lauderdale along with other bands. There was a band that I really liked which was Lamb of God. Many years ago I got this mp3.com CD which had a song called Lies of Autumn by Burn the Priest (now Lamb of God). Probably that was the first death metal song I really liked. I listened to some LOG songs weeks before the concert and I did not like them very much. But after sawing them live - and seeing how much they rock - I definitely liked LOG and death metal. Then I listened to other bands that had more speed and technique than Lividity and Mortician like The Crown and Amon Amarth. Swedish death metal I certainly liked a lot.

About other musical styles I like besides metal would have to be some hard rock, ethereal, gothic, and dark ambient music.

setstats 1 Death Metal Psycho
You are a Death Metal Psycho. In areas of
brutality and hatred where others fear to
tread, that's where you find enjoyment - the
realm of death metal. You're one violent
motherfucker, and you like music that fits
that; brutal snarling death is the best, but
anything with enough aggression and good riffs
works. Concerts are a great place to take out
some of that aggression, hear some kick-ass
music, and of course get drunk. You're
generally pretty cool with the rest of the
scenes, but if they piss you off, there's some
serious pain coming their way. Especially if
they talk shit about Chuck.
