The new Skate Canada logo says it all: figure skating is about passion, spirit, and triumph.
To truly enjoy pair skating is to understand it. The powerful throws and elements coupled with grace and elegance beyond words is what makes pair skating one of the most beautiful sports in the world. To see two people blend together and become one person in a stunning display of musicality and artistry is why I love pairs, but some people like the technical power, some like the unique interaction between partners as they skate together, others love the inspirational stories that lay behind the frilly costumes, gold medals, and expressive choreography.
Whatever your reason for loving pair skating, I hope you like my page!
