| Dying Lies is a heavy metal band from Fayette, IA, formed in 2005. Some of our more prominent influences are Lamb of God, Children of Bodom, and Metallica. We play a pretty straight-forward style: angry lyrics, drop-tuned guitars, 5-string bass, and lots of double-kick drumming. Hardly a new formula for metal, but metal's perfect the way it is. We're available for shows when we have a lead singer, and will play just about any gig unless it involves rap or otherwise shitty music. | ||||||||||
