The Sultans: Shipwrecked
25 Ta Life: Haterz Be Damned

UFO: You Are Here

This week brings 106 new rock CDs. Solid number, but also not so famous and great artists. I   decided to choose only three. 25 Ta Life Is the most interesting here, they represent hardcore  influenced by punk, you can find them on compilation "Still From Heart". Certainly, worth of mention and listening. For older things and stuff, you can be satisfied with new album of UFO. And something of the Indie Rock, coming this week, new album of The Sultans under the name "Shipwrecked".

The Vines: Winning Days

Well, looking at the this week, a lot of fans of different styles will be more than satisfied. Great bands and artists decided to make reissues of their famous albums. David Bowie, certainly have no inspiration for new album, he made three reissues of his albums and with that turn he tries to hold him fresh in the memory of his fans. This week we will see reissues of Guns'n'Roses, Chuck Berry and Elvis Presley, nothing special about band and artists that doesn't exist anymore. Weezer made reissue of their first album (Blue album), it is recommended to remember their old hits like "Buddy Holly", worth of buying. After big commercial success on MTV and big radio station, the Rasmus published their 2nd album "Dead Letters". Maybe their dash for 2nd album is unnecessary, because their singles are still on hit- lists all over the world. Maybe, the most interesting album of this week is "Winning Days" of The Vines. What can we excpect from this album? Certainly nothing bad, because quality of garage rock and garage punk bands today is on high level, bad albums are pretty rare.Just remember groups like The Whitestripes, The Hives or The Jets. Punk legends from 80' published their new album "Cool To Be You". Not so great expectation from this one, but for their hardcore fans will be satisfied like always. Band that influenced NOFX, All and the most of today punk revival bands, was criticized with the quality of their last albums. "Absolution" of indie rock band Muse is long-awaited and i except good reviews.
