Snetterton Park
I think Pete really enjoyed himself at this track, although he was still a bit frustrated that he didn't get his knee down I think?

Pete and the R6 did so much better at this circuit and it really showed just how much quicker the R6 is compared to the Cat. If Pete was in front, I was right on his back tyre in the corners, but no matter how hard I rang the Thundercats neck I couldn't keep up on the straights.

Pete in the end moved over to let me through as I was all over him, but I always had the feeling that he would sail past me on the straights. And he did just that, as I saw the red and white Yamaha go past I would curse under my visor. And I would know full well that I had to work like a bugger to get past him again.

It actually turned out that I couldn't match the R6's speed down the straight and I had to pressure Pete so much that he was forced to let me past.

Pete said after "Everytime I looked behind expecting to see no-one, I would see this bright yellow number and headlight right on my back wheel?

But aside from the R6's performance, I can't go without saying just how good Pete rode on the day. I saw a distinct improvement of Pete's riding at Snetterton and it's to his credit. I did put him under some tough pressure and I wasn't exactly hanging about either. WELL DONE PETE!!
The very tight esses after the back straight. Just enough time to stamp on the gear lever before flicking it right again.
This was quite tricky to get right, but when you did, it was very fast and very furious.
I believe this is at the end of the start/finish straight? A nice fast section of the track is this.
The only unfortunate thing about these pictures are that Pete's mirror always seems to be  hiding his visor.
