About Crossing Melbourne

You only get one chance to be a high school student. Will you leave your mark?

It’s pretty easy being a passionate Christian at Church or Youth Group on the weekend. But living out a real faith Monday to Friday can be really hard, especially at school. Crossing Melbourne is a Conference for High Schoolers to prepare you for tackling the biggest and possibly most exciting mission field you will ever be involved in. Your school. The conference aims to equip and encourage students who want to live as Christians and make a difference in their schools. Students from Melbourne and greater Victoria will be meeting for this event, to encourage each other, network and share ideas. If you want to come, register now.

Crossing Melbourne began early this year when a group of Christian High Schoolers from public and private schools got together to make a difference in their schools. This is the first Crossing Melbourne conference to take place and is fully run and organised by students. Our vision is that Crossing Melbourne will progress from a one-off event, to the formation of a support network, committed to regular conferences and regional groups that meet to share and encourage with each other. Although we are supported by a number of church groups and organisations we are committed to this being run by High School students for High school students. There will be youth workers, pastors and chaplains from many schools, churches and organisations supervising and attending Crossing Melbourne. Other adults who are bringing students or just want to come along are very welcome to attend.
