How do i get the newsletters ?

ANYONE can sign up for the newsletters that distributes through the circulation every two weeks, send an email to [email protected] and ask to be added on the list.

What if i don't want to recieve or stop getting the newsletters anymore ?

if you wish to delete your email from the enews - list, send an email to us and tell us which email you want to delete or change.

It is not our responsibility to ask for the correct address. If any emails has been bounced or not active, we will simply remove it.

How are the emails sent out ?

All emails are confidential and sent through blind carbon copy (you can't see everyone's email addresses as they are hidden) through [email protected], in HTML format. Make sure you can accept the emails from this address through your spam block or junk mail folder and change it safe mail / allow sender.

Why can't i open PDF (Portable Document Format) ?

You might not have installed it on your computer, you may need to download it and be able to open the flyers and press relreases.

How do I send the news or annoucements to DeafAtlantic Canada ?

Send an email to [email protected] with your subject and attachments. We do not develop flyers for organizations which is their responsibility to submit it.

What kind of news are appropiate to send out ?

DeafAtlantic Canada reserves the right to accept or revoke any news, press releases or llinks which are appropiate for the use of the website. and newsletters. For example, please send us obituary write-up from the newspaper to corroborate any death notice.

What formats are accepted and which will be used on the site ?

Accepted formats are doc, wpd, html or pdf. Other formats are accepted and we try out best to convert them. However, all postings are in PDF and HTML on the website.

Can I submit Videos or Vlogs ?

Yes, Videos or Vlogs can be sent with appropiate material, Send them with your embedded codes or links to us. We will post it online. Please do not send the file to the email, upload it to a video hosting site (Youtube, Motionbox, etc).

If i am late submitting the news which deadline has been passed, Can i still send them ?

Yes, any annoucements are suggested to be sent out at least one week before the event date.

When do I need to inform DeafAtlantic Canada of any cancellations of the events?

Inform us at least 12 to 24 hours piror to the event date.

Can I put TBA (To Be Announced) on the site for my event ?

No, due to scheduling conflicts in the past from other organizations wishing to book the date, in other words if your ready to book the event and take the time slot of the calendar date.
