When recording I try to explore different areas of music. Some sounds find their way back, while others seem fitting for only that moment and space. "Baleen Dream" for example, was fun recording because I hadn’t done anything quite like it before, and approached recording it in a spontaneous manner.

My styles change as much as my influences do, so when asked to describe my music to someone the answer never seems the same. There are a few people though who have helped shape the direction I travel in - Karl Blau, Leanard Cohen, Chan Marshall, Mike Oldfield, Jeff Buckley, P.J. Harvey, etc.

"Where Matter Lives" is available through K and KNW-YR-OWN records. "Darling I’m Your Devil" is also available through KNW-YR-OWN (and Left-Handed Label).

Also available through Left-Handed Label, "The Dead Lover's Benevolent Return": The original motion picture soundtrack. Recorded and performed by Nate Ashley, this cult classic was never released in the United States. An Italian romantic horror score, available now in a limited edition CDR advanced copy.
