30/12/2006 � Cut together a two minute internet only trailer for IAZM2.
29/12/2006 � And so begins the editing process on IAZM2 with over 25 gigabytes of raw footage to sift through, 94 minutes of which is purely from the previous two days (which was uploaded and logged today). I plan for the film to weigh in at around the 20 minute mark in the final edit, but it could easily reach 30 minutes.

26/12/2006 � Frantically re-edited the IAZM2 pre-recorded dialogue, due to technical difficulties on Gareth�s end, to play from my mobile phone in a �loud speaker� style. Spent a couple of hours pouring over the script making final shooting notes for the next day�s filming.

23/12/2006 � A second pre-production day, this time working with Ben to rehearse and teach him how to be a zombie.
19/12/2006 � Wrote (over four days) a piece on Werner Herzog and Cinema Verite. Recorded all the Zombie Man dialogue (rough form) for IAZM2.

8/8/2006 � Filmed a live cabaret performance by Kathy North (who provided the new narration for the MCTV pilot) at the Holme Lacy Home Hotel. Three camera set up, I covered the static wide shot on one camera and manned the close up/follow shots throughout the performance on another camera.

24/6/2006 � Filmed a wedding video with Barry Herd. Three camera set up covering the ceremony itself as well as the reception afterwards. Took charge of gathering footage during the reception and covered the closes ups and detail shooting throughout the day.

29/4/2006 � Filmed with Barry Herd in Stoke Edith. Acted as cameraman and helped direct a reconstruction of an event during the Civil War where ten parliamentary soldiers questioned and then shot a priest. Project involved multiple actors from the Sealed Knot group in costume, make up and several working muskets. Two edits planned � one for BBC Local TV and another for the Community Channel (Sky 539).
25/4/2006 � Directed and shot a film for BBC Local TV about the Hereford �Butter Market� in the centre of the city and Abby White acted as presenter. We were joined by another documenter who had been commissioned to create a film for the BBC which will show the making of Local TV. A segment of the film on the Butter Market will be included in the documentary itself. We were then interviewed for the doc, which will also be shown to those in power at BBC Head Office.

30/3/2006 � Filming with Mike Jackson for BBC Local TV. Acted as cameraman for a piece about a man who makes kites helping out at a Hereford primary school, teaching the kids how to make their own kites.
28/3/2006 � Borderlines Film Festival at The Courtyard, Hereford � Seminar on Local TV where my short �Coming Home� was one of a collection of shorts displayed as an example of what sort of films the Rural Media Company make for the Local TV Pilot. I got quite a bit of positive feedback on my film too, which was rather nice.

22/3/2006 � Filming with James Clarke � getting cut away footage in Luston for the eco-friendly piece. Headed back to the Rural Media Company in Hereford to review the footage. Then went off to a local school to get footage for another BBC Local TV short, this time focussing on an after-school group called Hereford Young Carers � a group set up to afford children who care for sick family members the opportunity to let off steam and act like kids for a change. Acted as cameraman and editor on both.
17/3/2006 � �The Blast� � filming with Barry Herd at a live gig by a local band in Ashperton. Acted as second cameraman, up front getting the action shots whilst being buffeted by moshing teenagers from behind � but it was still lots of fun, first live gig experience since my university days.
9/3/2006 � Filming with James Clarke for BBC Local TV in Luston at an eco-friendly house. Interview footage shot, had to postpone further shooting due to weather. Acted as cameraman.
