Revolver (Released August 8th, 1966)

First the title Revolver is suggestive of a change like a revolving door. Some one comes in and someone comes out. The one on the top left hand corner is supposed to be Paul. Ironically enough you see his profile not his face, having Paul  portrayed differently. Ironically enough the legend goes that the reason Paul's head is in profile is because it was shoved in at last minute. Also note that there is a hand/palm above Paul's head. The meaning of the hand has been established as meaning "Death" in middle eastern beliefs. I have heard rumors that it's Greek or Slavic, the true heritage is unconclusive.

The following have to deal with death and driving:
She said she said: I know what its like to be dead
Got to get you into my life: Paul sings, I was alone, I took a ride. I didnt know what I would find there. As titled Got to get you into my life. (Some say this is replicated in a sense in In my Life on Rubber Soul)
Taxman: If you drive a car... and My advice to those who die taxman is clear the pennies on your eyes. (In reference to pennies on the eyes, which in certain cultures people put pennies on dead peoples eyes. Also see Penny Lane).
And Your Bird Can Sing: You cant see me, you cant see me.
For No One: She says her love is dead. (In reference to Jane)
Tomorrow Never Knows: Played the game of existence to the end. (Billy played Paul, so that we continued to think Paul existed. The real Paul existed until he died in which Billy took over).
