Real Interviews With Paul And The Beatles: We�ve all wondered �What DID The Beatles say when asked if Paul had died?� Well, their answers fluctuated over the years. At first they would openly talk about it, than that went to not even speaking if they were asked. Not speaking makes us wonder more. You would figure if they were so annoyed by being asked they would clear things up and say, �Yeah, all these years we�ve been putting in clues and trying to trick you� and than the question of Paul being dead would die itself. Especially after Lennon�s life being cut short after David Mark Chapman shot him in the chest in New York, or George�s untimely death to brain cancer on November 29th 2001. But no, they wont clear it up even though it seems the sensible thing to do. It seems as though Ringo and especially Paul will die knowing the truth. You can�t just �unknowingly� put these clues into albums. We're all sure their tired of hearing it, than why not clear it up? Maybe cause it really is true. I have found rare and candid interviews with each of the Beatles about Paul being dead:
When John and Yoko were interviewed on the �Dick Cavett Show� in 1970 a member of the TV audience asked �Last year we had a big thing about Paul McCartney being dead. And I was wondering how much of it you planned and how much was planned by you?� John answered, �It had nothing to do with me�there is a rumor that he is dead actually, but the first I heard about it was in the press you know. I don�t know how it happened. It was a mystery to Paul. It was a mystery to me. None of us knew what it was about or whatever. But of course they credited it to me or Paul saying, you know, that it was publicity seeking and we did it. It wasn�t a very, I don�t know. It was a peculiar thing. I don�t know what it was about.� I
