welcome to hell

So what of hell?  Were told it is fueled by eternal flames which only torture for eternity but never consume.  This, remember, is an invention of the guy up there, who cannot be satisfied unless his felonies extend into eternity, and who created hell as retribution for those not cringing behind the robes of his Son and are therefore free game for his murderous intent.  And I assume that when he was looking for a warden for this place there were few takers because it was pictured as even worse than the ulcer producing atmosphere of living under the same cloud with the Marquis de God and never being quite sure of not being flayed alive (or dead), so he took matters into his own hands and kicked Satan out of heaven as he was given to rebellious behavior, and made him housekeeper of hell.  For my part Ive never grasped why it is necessary for anyone to have to oversee these after-life domains, since they are eternal and from which there is no exit or escape.  Anyway, word got around that, onerous as heaven is, its a picnic compared to hell whose threats are forthright and not masked behind promises of joy and rapture.  Thats right, in hell what you see is what you get.  But wait, where have we gotten all our information on hell?  Not from any objective source, but from the Bible which, if tradition holds true, was inspired by the guy up there and which therefore leads me to conclude that if he is against it then can it really be all that bad?  Or is the truth that hell is really a suburb of Cleveland? Who knows?
