"After that ship! I want to kill the one who slayed my brother Scorponis!" yelled Radak to his crew of Scorpian knights. The Dreadnought turned sharply, floating around Howlers Gulag. The black ship had no mast, thus it had no sails. It was truely a ship running on the power of evil. It chased the Midnight into the blanket of the ocean.
"Impossible!" spat Graynar, loading a crossbow. "That ship has no sails nor any method of movement. The only way it can move is by magic or the power of the waves." Hurokol was more worried about escaping the Dreadnought's murderous crew, than how it was able to move; "Quick! Boldan take us into the fog of that cloud." he yelled at Boldan who was manning the wheel.
"Aye captain!"
The Midnight soared gracefully over the waves, which rocked the small ship, and sprayed the crew with mist. Through thick fog and bursts of rain, the Midnight and Dreadnought went. The Dreadnought constantly launched mighty burning projectiles at the Midnight. But missed widely every time. "Excellent! The fog is clouding their vision." said Hurokol. |

"Damn! Can't get a clear shot on that ship!" spat Radak. "Men--prepare for boarding! I wish to kill that Boldan with my own hands." The Dreadnought crew launched boarding ropes and chains into the air; They all missed except one, which whipped through the fog, and lodged it's self in the stern of the ship. "Quickly! Someone cut that chain!" yelled Hurokol. Gunfar ran towards the stern and brought his axe down on it. The chain shuddered and rattled horribly, but did not break. Graynar knew if Gunfar could not shatter the chain, no one on this ship could. "We'll have to stop them when the climb aboard then!" said Graynar, spitting sea water from his mouth. He loaded a grapebolt into his crossbow. He aimed into a cluster of Scorpian soldiers. Fighting the sickness in his stomach he pulled the trigger, propelling the loaded bolt into the crowd. The "grape"bolt exploded in impact. Thousands of tiny glass shards showered the soldiers as the bolt head exploded. The injured soldiers cowered back, blood streaming from their punctured skin. |

"Well done lad." said Hurokol, patting Graynar on the shoulder. "I would have never have thought to attack them with one of Ekayto's exploding bolts." Hurokol then turned his attention to Renvale and Wolf; "Renvale, you are a master with the longbow. Bring them down with your shafts. Wolf, grab a crossbow and help with the attack." Wolf picked up a crossbow, but slipped and dropped it into the stormy sea. "Oh dear." he said fakely. Renvale loaded his longbow, and shot several arrows into the dark sky. His shafts had missed longly and the wind threw them back in his face. "Ahh! It's too windy to use the bow!" he exclaimed. "I've never heard of an elf who gave up shooting his bow, because of a little wind!" spat Hurokol. Hurokol picked up the elf's bow, loaded it, and shot an arrow towards the Dreadnought. The arrow found it's mark, and sunk deep into the man's neck. "Must have been no wind that time." said the elf, throwing water off his brow with his hand. The storm increased and the waves rocked the two ships over and over. Graynar was not enjoying this, and he fainted. "Graynar!" yelled Boldan, running towards his sea sick friend, and leaving the wheel unatended. "Boldan you fool!" gasped Hurokol. The Midnight wheel spun rapidly around on it's support. The ship turned sharply towards the Dreadnought. |

"Now's our chance!" screamed Radak. "Board that ship men!" The blood thirsty Scorpian knights leaped across the bow and onto the Midnight deck. "No you don't you! Not getting on this ship you aren't!" yelled Gunfar, he ran towards the Scorpian soldiers amassing on the deck. He jumped up, spun his axe around his head, and decapitated the first soldier to meet him. "Help me comrades!" Gunfar yelled to Wolf and Renvale. "I can't take 'em alone!" They stood there motionless as the Dwarf fought on. |

Meanwhile, captain Conner, the one who escaped the Gulag, leaped aboard the command deck of the Midnight. "Didn't think I was aboard did you?" he said, and he wacked Hurokol over the head with his battle axe. He watched the kight fall down the ladder onto the floor laughing with glee. "Out of the way Conner." said Radak, jumping aboard. "Let me kill the one called Boldan. I must avenge my brother's death." "I'm here." said Boldan, leaving Graynar on the command deck's floor. "Prepare to die knight!" yelled Radak charging towards Boldan. |

Radak held in his hands a dark katana, which was a horribly wicked sharp sword. He twirled it around, spinning it very fast. Even through the thunder and rain, Boldan could hear the haunting sound of the sword whipping through the air. "Die knight!" Radak yelled. He was so quick, he had caught Boldan off guard and ran his sword through Boldan's shoulder. "Gah!" Boldan yelled. He fell back, landing on Graynar, who awoke with a gasp of surprise. "What's going on?" Graynar said rubbing his stomach. "Your funeral!" yelled Radak charging at Graynar. Captain Conner had left Radak to join in the fight below, and Radak was now alone. "More like yours!" yelled Graynar unsheathing his blade, mist rising slowly off the shining sword. |

Graynar threw his sword without thinking. It collided with Radak's katana, and was knocked down onto the deck below. "Foolish knight. Can't even control your own sword." said Radak, grinning. "Damn!" spat Graynar. He couldn't concentrate. The rocking of the ship was making him sick, Boldan's muffled cries were distracting him, and he couldn't even stay balanced. "Captain Radak, we've taken control of the ship!" interupted a Scorpian elite. "Well done, bound the crew and we'll drop 'em off somewhere remote, where they'll die. Oh and bring this knight's sword back to my ship. I would like to keep it as a trophy." said Radak. Several Scorpian knights came up on deck and tied Graynar's hands and feet together. |

"Or even better." said captain Conner, joining Radak on deck. "We burn the ship with them on it." "What a good idea." said Radak grinning. "They don't call you Conner the terrible for nothing." |
