Why Continue?

Many college members of SAI don't join an alumnae chapter after graduation. Why? For some, at least, they don't know what alumnae membership will bring to them.

College membership is just the beginning of membership in SAI. There are 121 active alumnae chapters nationwide that hold regular meetings (normally one per month or more) in addition to participating in service projects, musicales, fundraisers, and more. If you live more than 50 miles from the nearest alumnae chapter, you can also join the International Chapter, or even start your own chapter in your region!

There are many benefits to becoming a member of the Alumnae Association and affiliating with a chapter. Despite those perks, though, the best perk is that you can continue your membership and connection to music and sisters. What you loved about SAI in college only gets better in alumnae membership.

What about those who weren't initiated in college? They can look into Distinguished Membership. There are several categories to allow people with varying musical interests and abilities to join.

So, how do you join an alumnae chapter? Keep reading to find out!
