The second show I caught was at Replays (Danforth/Jones).  Not having done my "homework" by checking out the daily listings in this very publication [to-nite] (bad girl!), I was not aware there was even a band playing there on Saturday night but thought I'd pop in to see if there were any would-be karaoke stars.  Much to my surprise, there was an excellent "live" blues-rock band in attendance who call themselves Coldsweat.

While largely a cover band at the moment (Stevie Ray Vaughan, Pat Travers, Muddy Waters, Allman Brothers, Jeff Beck, Doors), these excellent and very professional musicians had the place jumping!  Seriously, I have not seen so many couples dancing together in a Danforth bar in years and not just to the slow tunes either!

On a mission to pass on the blues-rock torch to a new generation of music fans were:
Rob Tarticchio, another absolute wizard on lead guitar and close friend of the late Richard "Hock" Walsh (Downchild); Dave Yasuzawa (packing a great punch on the drum kit); and their younger mates, Anthony Salvatore (lead vocals - and sounding very much like Eric Clapton himself on a few tunes!), and last but certainly not least, Jeremy Levan (bass guitar).
