After a long, gruelling
day at the mall, Elizabeth tossed the bags on the couch, then sat down beside
them. She couldn’t believe Justin made her go to a mall and shop with him
for nearly four hours.
She heard Justin laughing from his
spot leaning against the doorframe.
She sat up a little. “What’s so funny?”
“Nothing,” he replied, taking a seat
next to her. “Nothing at all.” He smiled slowly.
“Tell me,” she said. Elizabeth pulled
at the collar of his gray sweatshirt as if she was going to strangle him.
Justin continued to laugh, not being
able to control it.
She's so cute when she's angry,
he thought with a smile.
He grinned when she grabbed a hold
of his shirt even tighter. “What you gonna do to me?”
She thought for a moment then let go
out his shirt. “I'm thinking. Why were you laughing anyways?”
He reached over and put his arm around
her waist and leaned back against the couch. “How cute you are,” he told
her.
“Seriously,” Elizabeth said, looking
at him. “What's so funny?” Not that she didn’t like the compliments, but
she wanted to know what he thought was so hilarious that he couldn’t stop
laughing.
Justin wanted to shut her up so badly.
He kissed her, long and hard.
She began to struggle, trying to push
him away, but gave up knowing she wanted him so badly right now. She found
herself wrapping her arms around his neck, kissing him back as passionately
as he was kissing her.
He sat up and pulled her onto his lap,
not letting go of her. She was pulled up so close to him, that there was
hardly any distance between the two of them. A few minutes later, she felt
his tongue in her mouth. She pulled away, not hating it, actually liking
it, but they were going a bit too fast.
He was trying hard to get his breathing
back to normal. That felt so incredible kissing her like that, and she seemed
to really like it since she was smiling at him. He had been so into the kiss,
he had just let it continue to get more passionate, but God it felt good.
He wished it hadn't ended.
Elizabeth on the other hand, was trying
to sit up straight. She couldn't stop looking at what she thought was an
adorable face.
They both continued to stare at each
other. Finally, Justin broke the silence.
“What do you want to do tonight?”
She stared at him as if he was crazy.
“Tonight? It's only…”
She glanced at her watch. “3:30.”
She laughed, realizing how fast the time had past.
They had spent the day at the mall,
Justin claiming he needed new clothes for when he and the guys were leaving
next week. Elizabeth was a little upset about him leaving but she didn't
dread on the thought, she knew they would be together again.
They spent all day at the mall, and
she found it really annoying how he continually asked her to hold clothes
that he had picked up off the racks. It had taken him four hours to finally
get all that he wanted. He bought her lunch, apologizing for making her follow
him around the mall all day.
And now they were back at her place
sitting on the couch after their little make out session, which could have
turned into way more.
“So what do you want to do tonight?”
Justin asked again.
She was still staring at him, she couldn't
hear him. He waved his hand in front of her face to get her attention.
She moved his hand away. “What?”
He chuckled. “You really are something
else.”
“What's that supposed to mean?” she
asked, getting up and putting her hands on her hips.
“It's not an insult,” he said, standing
up beside her. “I asked you what you wanted to do tonight and you were off
in some other world.”
“Oh, sorry. Just thinking, I guess.”
“So, what do you want to do tonight?”
he asked again.
“Whatever you want to do.”
“Did I wear you out?” he asked.
She laughed and tapped his head with
her hand. “You wish.”
She started to walk away, and
Justin followed her, so she didn't dare go into her bedroom. She walked out
onto the patio when she saw someone out there. She saw him. The person that
was at the bowling alley the day before.
“Who are you?” she asked, taking a
step closer to the man.
The man was wearing dark sunglasses,
dark jeans, and a tanned shirt. She couldn't see him hair because a hat was
covering it.
“That's for me to know and you to find
out,” he said quietly. “But I'll give you a hint, you know me already.”
Elizabeth couldn't recognize the voice,
but figured he was using a disguised voice so she wouldn't know who he was
right away.
“Why don't you just tell me who you
are?”
“Because then it wouldn't be any fun
for me then, would it?”
He took a few steps closer to her,
but then stepped away into a corner when Justin came out onto the porch.
“What are you doing out here?” Justin
put his arms around her waist, then he felt that she was shaking when he
touched her trembling fingers. “What's wrong?”
“Just chilly out,” she said. Fortunately,
it was a little nippy out.
“Then let's go inside.”
Justin took her hand and led
her back through the screen door. As they walked inside, Elizabeth kept her
focus outside. She saw the figure given her a sly smile, then he disappeared.
