It was about seven o'clock and the girls were all ready
to go.
Dasia took a quick shower, dried her hair, and curled it into many little
spirals then held them back with two thin hair bands. Even though it was
cold outside, she knew it would probably be hot in the club so she wore an
orange tank top and a long orange and white skirt.
Tiffany put on a dark blue dress and left her hair as was, but touched up
her make up a little.
Kristi pulled all her hair into a twist and held it there with a claw clip.
“I lied. I'm definately not ready to go.” Kristi looked through her suitcase
for a different outfit.
“What's wrong with what your wearing?” Tiffany asked.
“Everything. I can't believe I even brought it. Should I change into my red
shirt?”
“Kristi it looks great. Just leave it please.”
“Yeah I love that black skirt and you have to wear that purple top or your
make up won't match,” Tiffany said with a smile.
“Fine, it's not like I got anyone to impress.”
“Yeah, that's why you were caught making out with JC?” Dasia said.
Kristi kept blushing. “What about Justin?”
“What you like JC and him?”
“No, I'm talking about you and him. I saw the sparks when you were rolling
in the snow.”
“Not a chance. 1, he's not my type, and 2, he's engaged.”
“What are you talking about?” Tiffany interrupted. “He is so your type.”
“That's not true. Joey's more of the kind of guy I go for.”
“Justin's exactly the kind of guy you've always gone after,” Kristi said.
“Well if I never stayed with any of the kind of guys I go for that must mean
their all wrong for me and Justin is way out of the question.”
“Dasia, you can't pretend. You know you want Justin like a crack head wants
another hit.”
“I'm that transparent, huh?”
“Like glass.”
“It doesn't matter okay? It's just a little crush. I won't see him after
this trip anyway. Then again, I didn't think I'd see him after the plane
but it's been one coincidence after the other, but he's getting married to
some chick named Claire or something, so no it doesn't matter.”

“This place is awesome, how'd you find it?” Joey asked.
“A couple of years back, we were driving around and we happened to find it,”
Kristi said. “This place has everything from food, drinks, dancing, and karaoke.”
“You guys do karaoke?” Lance asked in amusement.
“We are the queens of karaoke,” interrupted Dasia.
“Prove it,” dared Chris.
“Prove it? Well I would but umm I don't have a song to sing,” Dasia said
content with her answer.
“I'll get you one,” Tiffany offered. She jumped up and ran to set everything
up.
“Looks like you're doing karaoke,” Kristi said.
“Only if you and Tiff go up there with me,” Dasia said with pleading eyes.
“Sure thing,” she said with a smile.
Both girls stood as Tiffany approached them.
“So what song are we doing?” Dasia asked, a little impatient.
“You'll see when we get up there.”
They grabbed their microphones and waited for the music to start.
Ahh, crush, ahhh
I see ya blowin' me a kiss
It doesn't take a scientist
To understand what's going on baby
If you see something in my eye
Let's not over analyze
Don't go too deep with it baby
So let it be what it'll be
Don't make a fuss and get crazy over you and me
Here's what I'll do
I'll play loose
Run like we have a day with destiny
It's just a little crush (Crush)
Not like I faint every time we touch
It's just some little thing (crush)
Not like everything I do depends on you
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la

Tiffany and Kristi placed their hands on their foreheads and pretended to
faint as they sang the chorus. The five men smiled and realized how good
the girls were.
“Hey Lance, check out Jace. He can't look at anything but Kristi.” Joey laughed.
“I know! Did you happen to notice Justin over there?”
“What about him?”
“He hasn’t taken his eyes off Dasia since we got here,” Chris answered.
It's raising my adrenaline
You're banging on a heart of tin
Please don't make too much of it baby
You say the word "Forevermore"
That's not what I'm looking for
All I can commit to is "maybe"
So let it be what it'll be
I'll pay loose
Run like we have a day with destiny
It's just a little crush (Crush)
Not like I faint every time we touch
It's just some little thing (crush)
Not like everything I do depends on you
Sha-la-la-la, Sha-la-la-la
Vanilla skies (vanilla skies)
White picket fences in your eyes
A vision of you and me
It's just a little crush (crush)
Not like I faint every time we touch
It's just some little thing (crush)
Not like everything I do depends on you
Sha-la-la-la
Not like I faint every time we touch
It's just some little thing
Not like everything I do depends on you
