I have been told that although the previous dissertertion on making money in the Kingdoms is great, it would be nice if I would show how it is that I make 100k per day when I am trying to make money.
First, you have to realize that making 100k is gonna take at least 6-8 hours unless you have items to sell.
First 2 hours, you kill enough sheep to get 350 wool, this is 35k. (Or if you want, you can do 1000 and bring in the whole 100k, but that is a good 4 hours of killin sheep.) Now, wool is NOT hard to sell, I saw a yell this morning, "Buying up to 1000 wool 3.5k per 35". Or, you can go stand at the weaver in the wilderness and sell to people that are weaving.
To break up the monotony you now spend an hour killing off wimpy ogres in the wimp ogre cave, or if you are low level, killing off spiders in the spider cave until you have 100 ambers. Not that hard to do. Now, you either go sell the ambers in Mythic for 35k or you go craft em, probably get 25k out of that.
Back to work, time to mine and smelt till you have 210 metal in the bank. Now you have spent about 2 hours mining and smelting. You take that 21 at a time to the smith and say metal or metalz etc. This will result in about 70 daggers valued at 500c to 1k each, bringing you between 35k and 70k.
Ok, you have just spent about 6 hours playing the game, but you have between 95k and 130k in your hands.
Like I said, this is a get rich SLOW scheme.
Now on the other hand, if you have items, like I do, you can simply go try to sell them. I kill 100 kings a day in blizzard, usually resulting in at least 1 frozen spear worth 225k-250k. (When I feel like hunting). This has become much more difficult lately. I have killed over 1000 kings in the last few months without one frozen spear dropping, and the going price is now about 100k for one.
I also buy holy rings from people for 35k and sell em for 65k, etc. Wherever I can get a deal I buy low, sell high. I stand in mythic sometimes for hours listening to people selling things, whispering them for price, and buying what I can sell for more. For instance I bought a flame fang for 50k which I turned around and sold for 100k three days later. As I said on the previous page, this has become much riskier lately due to massive drops of level 50+ hand and 85+ weapons. I now watch the sages for one person buying an item and another selling it, whisper the seller for price, and the buyer for offer on the item, and go buy and sell if there is a profit to being the middleman.
Almost all of my money is presently coming from mining, smithing, and smelting daggers, and from gathering and selling wool, plus from gathering Ginko wood.
