Nexus Justice: Reasons to obey the Law..

   Now, jail may not seem important at first glance, especially to a new player, but if you look at the large amount of opportunities I have posted on this website for things other than strictly hunting, like clans, subpaths, etc.  You will see this is a very bad thing.

    For instance, no clan nor subpath is allowed to let anyone in that has a crime mark on their legend.  That is ANY crime mark.  Crime ranges from large to small, some things so small they are marked on you as "minor infraction" and nothing more.  Reguardless of the size of the crime though, you will be excluded from many things for even the smallest crime mark on your legend.

    Worse, some crimes will get all your Karma removed, the result of which is that the NPC's like the bank, and the various vendors won't let you buy, sell, deposit or withdraw.  A serious handicap. 

    And, it is NOT impossible to stay mark free.  I have been playing this game for 2 1/2 years or thereabouts, and so far I have not been branded nor even jailed, for that matter, no one has even taken me to court.

    The good news is that chongun elders and guides can remove your mark.  The bad news is it can take 3+ real life months to get that mark removed, and it will cost you about 200,000 coins in items to do so, PROVIDED you can buy those items being that an Angels Tear is very very rare.
