Weekly events.

Each week there are certain events you can count on.  In the Kugnae arena there are the Riches Carnages (2-4 teams competing against each other in the hopes of being the first team to have two wins, the prizes are large, and the experience gain is also significant.)  These are broken up by level into 5 different carnages each week. 

On the weekend each Saturday and Sunday there are elixer wars in the Kugnae arena, usually twice a day.  This is like a paintball war with similar rules, but you shoot dye arrows.  If you should be dyed by the other team and then your team redyes you, you are back in action.  The reward is a dye sheath that recharges itself if you put it in your bank with at least one charge left in it.  This is a lot of fun, and is similar to capture the flag, but if you are hit with the other teams dye and change colors, you can't move or you are removed from play.

In the Buya arena is the Glory carnage, it is similar to the Riches Carnage except that in the Riches Carnage you cannot ressurect and go back to playing, once dead, you end up back outside till the next round.  In the Glory Carnage you can resurrect if you can get close enough to the person that resurrects you.  This means these carnages can last for many many hours.

You can see the page I put in here about carnages to see how to best win the Riches or Glory carnages, althogh in the case of the glory carnage one of the keys to winning is to keep the other team away from the npc the reserrects them. There is no winner as long as one of them is alive.

My personal favorite is the Riches carnage, and the two team one rather than the four team one, the reason is that the four team ones give you only a 1 in 4 chance to win instead of a 1 in 2 chance, and, they take too long.  The last carnage I was in lasted 5 hours, by the 5th round I had to log out and go to bed, and don't know to this day who won.

Note: Don't kill the carnage hosts, they tend to get ticked off. (Ehehe.. I did this once by accident as the host was dressed in white and was standing on the white teams area.  I think they should die themselves a color that is unmistakable.)
