Seen to some as the resident "bad ass" of the DCWL, Matt Cole has been through a lot since he came to the DCWL. The death of his friend and long time manager, Tank Holland, almost caused Cole to quit the DCWL and the wrestling business forever. "Cole's Don't Quit", a saying that his father drilled into Matt's head, and what he views as "unfinished biz", has drawn this biker back into the DCWL's squared circle. His once lethal heart punch robbed from him by an attack by Elemental Disturbance (Tawny Blake, The Captiol, and Jack Ketch) has forced Cole to change his brawling based style.

The fans are what fuels Cole. They have a soft spot for the outspoken biker. Cole views the fans as his "boss", telling him who needs to be taken down a knotch or two.
