| Our Jungle Trek in Doi Inthanon Park, West of Chiang Mai, Northern Thailand |

| Day One |
| We started with a 2.5 hour drive from Chiang Mai, the largest city in northern Thailand, to a quite untouristed trail. A flat 2 hour hike brought us to the Meo (Hmong) tribal village, a tribe that originated in Southern China but settled in Thailand over 200 years ago. We trekked with six other people: an american mother and daughter, a couple of Danish girls and a British husband and wife. A great bunch. |
| This woman and her daughter didn't speak English but they welcomed us at the village and sold us tribal handicrafts. She is 48 years old, and the little girl is 7. The day closed with a whisky soaked Thai drinking game. Bing bong bang game? Yeahhh... |
