| "Enchanting" would be the word to describe Ayuthaya. At 650 years old, the red brick structures are leaning, and the statues are crumbling. Just walking around the dilapidated buildings you can feel the grandeur that the city once held, before the Burmese invaded, destroying statues of their own faith. |

| Along the train line north to Ayuthaya, the ancient capital of Thailand, hawkers, vagabonds and stray dogs are everywhere. The dogs are in fact a huge problem in Thailand.... they're everywhere! Not just in Bangkok, but everywhere we visited. Heres a hawker we saw along the line. |
