| We spent a couple of days at Wutai Shan, our second of China's 4 sacred Buddhist mountains. Tibetan monks who make the pilgrimage can be seen all over in their colorful robes. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Yungang caves are extensive and huge. Thousands of Buddhist images were intricately carved in relief into the cave walls over 1000 years ago. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| So there is China. When our visas were ready, it was time to get to the the train station for a 6 day journey across Mongolia and Russia on the Trans-Siberian Railway. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
