First Appearance
-
X-Man first appeared in X-Man
#1, which was released as a part of the "Age of Apocalypse" storyline.
This was an alternate time-line that resulted when Charles Xavier was killed
by Legion, his son (X-Men #41).
-
Origin
-
He is apparently the son of Jean Grey
and Scott Summers, though not directly. Mr. Sinister created him from the
genes of these two would-be heros to form the ultimate mutant. This he
did, though he could not control him. He escaped the holding pens, and
traveled around with Forge and his group (AOA timeline). He is an alternate
version of Cable. For a time he lived in SoHo, New York. But after loseing
the trust of the people he fled and to this day travels with ever changeing
company.

Known Powers
-
His powers are telekinesis and telepathy.
And he is strong. Very strong. Strong enough to pull Xavier out of the
astral plane - something no one else had ever done. But he is so powerful
that his body can't take it. If he doesn't learn to control his power,
he will die before he turns 21. In a Recent Vision Nates see's himself
dieing and the powers unleashed at his death destroy Half the world, this
has caused Nate to seek out Threnody, his only hope. Nate also lost the
use of his Telepathy due to the PSI-Wars EMP wave which shattered his Astral
form, lucky for Nate his TK is still strong as ever

Friends
Nate has made and lost friends in both
Realitys. On his homeworld his family and friends consisted of Forge, Sauron,
Toad, Brute, Sonique, and the MasterMind. In the Mainstream Reality Nate
has befriended the likes of Spiderman, Madelyne Pryor, Rogue, Jean Grey,
Ness (whom recently died) Cinder and Threnody. Though the number of friends
goes on, Nate travels mostly by himself now haveing lost to much to lose
anymore...
Enemies
Apocalypse - the mutant
who enslaved his world.
Mr. Sinister - Sinister
killed Forge in the AOA timeline.
The Dark Beast - the
Beast wants to control him for his own sick experiments.
Madelyne Pryor - His
own creation gone a little crasy.
Jack Knife - another
spawned by nate, and almost invulnerable to his power.
Exodus - Might be his
equal in psionic power, since he was hell to take down at half strength.
Onslaught - the most
powerful being Nate ever came across, but the combined might of Earth's
heroes stopped this Mutant menance.
Strengths
Telepathy that can pry into any mind
and pull the once greatest mind of Charles Xavier from the astral plane,
and telekinesis that nate can use to, in his words "My telekinesis just
sheared down through a hundred and thirty feet of dirt and rock, smashed
through four more feet of solid brick and Mortar...and Pulverized it all
in mid-air right before your eyes...lets take a minute to imagine what
it could do to You.
Weaknesses
He often loses his temper. When he
does, he exasperates alot of his power. He often gets nose bleeds from
the extreme pressure. In conclusion to the PSI-Wars, Nate's telepathy is
gone, leaveing him sorta blind and clumsy in certain area's.
