In a small town called Capeside; Dawson Leery, Pacey Witter and Joey Potter spent their extra time filming movies which Dawson hoped to some day become a motion picture. These three 15 years olds all had dreams and one day hoping for them to come true. Knowing each other since an early age, Dawson was the typical sweet boy next door, Pacey being the joker and the tomboy being Miss Joey Potter.

With small problems behind them, enter Jennifer Lindley. The girl of both Dawson and Pacey's dreams. She was beautiful, experienced and quite a wild child. For months Dawson and his best friend Pacey fought over the girl but eventually, she chose the film maker over the joker. It was not until Dawson and Jen had got together that Joey had realised that she felt a 'little something' for Dawson. She kept her feelings hidden until a reunion in detention caused some secrets to burst. Realising that Jen wasn't for him, Dawson broke off the relationship and soon went out with Joey. On many occasions the couple broke up and got back together but they kept believing their destiny was to be together.

About a year later, brother and sister, Jack and Andie McPhee, arrived at Capeside. Jack fell for Joey but soon had to break it off after discovering his real sexuality. With tears in her eyes, Joey ran to Dawson and after much comforting, they soon got back together. Andie and Pacey eventually got together and were made to be the 'perfect couple' until Andie's mental problems forced her to return home temporarily. With confusion and emptiness, Pacey was unsuccessful in doing well with school due to missing his girlfriend so much. His feelings changed once she returned and revealed that she slept with somebody else while she away. Pacey, feeling hurt and distraught, eventually forgived her, but had no longer felt the love that he previously experienced for her. Andie felt eager to hold onto him but eventually gave up and moved on. During senior year Andie moved to Italy to travel.

Now four years later, the five some are attending their first year at university and have also met other new people. For Joey there's Audrey, her college roommate, who seems to be quite a cheerful, yet crazy girl. And there's Charlie, who Jen met at a party and who 'seems' to come across as a fairly sweet guy.

They have all evolved from being inexperienced teenagers to mature, young women and men since the show first started.

Dawson's Creek is a show which not only captures the audience's heart but also their minds. It deals with issues that we not only experience today, but all the time, throughout our entire life. Created by Kevin Williamson, this show is just too good to miss!
