- Seaborn G. Chiles, 2nd & 1st Lieutenant, 11th US Infantry Regiment: Served in Porto Rico; fought in the engagement at Hormigueros on August 10th, 1898.
 
- Isaac Erwin, 1st Lieutenant, 16th US Infantry Regiment & Captain, 30th US Infantry Regiment: Took part in the battle of San Juan Hill on July 1st, 1898, for gallantry in the battle he was recommended for a Brevet promotion to Captain, United States Army; engaged in the battles about Santiago, on July 2nd, 3rd, and 10th, 11th, & 12th, 1898.
 
- William H. Hay, 1st Lieutenant 10th US Cavalry Regiment; Captain & Assistant Quartermaster, US Volunteers. Served as a Quartermaster & Mustering Officer of Pennsylvania Volunteers, & later with the Army of Occupation in Cuba.
 
- Francis J. Kernan, Captain, 2nd US Infantry Regiment. Served in the Philippines on the Staff of General Arthur MacArthur from June to September of 1898; On duty with the Occupation Force in Cuba.
 
- Hamilton A. Smith, 1st Lieutenant, 3rd US Infantry Regiment. Served in the Santiago Campaign in Cuba, fought at El Caney on July 1st, San Juan Heights on July 2nd & 3rd, and in the Siege of Santiago.
 
- Samuel A. Smoke, 1st Lieutenant, 19th US Infantry; Captain, 5th US Infantry; Captain & Assistant Quartermaster, U.S. Volunteers. Commanding post, and Quartermaster and Commissary of Fort Wagner, Michigan; Chief Quartermaster, 1st Division, 1st Army Corps, at Macon, Georgia; Chief Quartermaster, Department of Santa Clara, Cuba.
 
- Charles Pelot Summerall, 2nd & 1st Lieutenant, 5th US Artillery. Participated in various skirmishes and engagements with Filipino insurgents near Calamba, Philippine Islands, from September to October of 1899.
