Movie Hype
Im sick of movie hype. We all know that critics get to see movies earlier that the general public, so their reviews can be ready before the movies release date. But really, critics should get only a 2-week advance. Take the movie The Hours for example; I picked up a newspaper on Fri. January 17, the day of the movies release, and it has already won an award.

The ad said Winner Best Picture 2002- National Board of Review, and also noted that it has 7 Golden Globe nominations. Now again, I fully understand that moviemakers want good reviews for the premiere, but come on.
Isnt it kind of pushing it to have a film win a Best Picture award before its even been released?
