To celebrate my friend Matt's birthday, a group of us headed to Haspin Acres for a day and night of festivities. There were two Samurai's, my XJ, and the rest were riding on quads. It had rained a lot and the entire place was a big mud hole. Even the parking lot was nearly impossible to drive on. I was able to drive into our camp shelter without any problems, but to get out I had to unload the XJ off the trailer and drive it separately up to the exit road and load it on the trailer there. The mud made every little obstacle very, very difficult to get over, and downhills were an uncontrolled roller coaster ride. Anyhow, we had a good time regardless as the campfire is always a good time. |
